The history of the M. Weinberg Quartet began in 2001. "Youth. Energy. Initiative. Excellence." Under this motto, in 2001, the Moscow quartet of soloists began its existence. It took the name RUSQUARTET and united talented youth of the string faculty of the Academic College of Music at Moscow State Conservatory named after Tchaikovsky in the class of G.V. Soboleva.
